Charcoal Grills
For grilling purists, the charcoal grill will forever remain the grill of choice. Charcoal grills cost little to operate and purchase. There are no gas cylinders to fill. They are portable, safe, and the finished foods have the classic grill flavor everyone loves. What more could you ask of a grill?
Gas Grills
There's no denying it, gas grills have come of age. They're not only prospering, but are becoming the popular choice for a home grill. You have to admit, a gleaming stainless steel grilling station is a sight to behold, even before you toss your slabs of meat on it.
If you decide to purchase a gas giant, you will have to decide which type of fuel you are goint to use, either propane or natural gas. If you chose propane, your grill will remain mobile as long as you use refillable tanks.
If you choose natural gas, you will need to have permanently locate your grill and arrange to have a gas line run to it. The benefit is that you will never run out of gas or have to lug a tank to a refilling station. Other bonuses of natural gas are it is generally cheaper than propane, and is a cleaner burning fuel which means less residue on your foods for a tastier, healthier meal. Yum.
Electric Grills
Grillers who have gone electric are asking "Who needs gas?" Like natural gas, electric grills lack the portability to bring them to the game, but for home use they perform well.
